Roof Top Tent Down Quilt (Oversized King Sleeping Bag)

Regular price $349.99 now $299.99

In 2019, Vector OffRoad proudly re-introduced the first Goose down comforter designed specifically for roof top tents(originally released in 2013, but at the time, was too far ahead of the current Overlanding craze).  The inner shell is made from a silky soft nylon.  The exterior fabric is 20D nylon for toughness.  These are quilted using a box baffle construction which eliminates cold spots in your quilt.  We use 750 grams of 800 fill power goose down in this bad boy.

It is a very solid three season sleeping bag.  We designed it large enough to fit most of the largest roof top tents on the market, but it also works great in smaller one and two person tents as well.  It stuffs down small enough to store under a rear seat.  There are tie down points in all four corners for securing it to your mattress or for hanging it to dry.

Down is not only the best insulator around, it also compresses amazingly well, allowing you to store your comforter inside your roof top tent (use caution when storing your quilt inside your tent, and make sure to avoid hinges and internal tent brackets from damaging your fabric).  This maximizes precious space inside your vehicle and makes setting up camp even easier.  We include a storage sack for long term storage, when not overlanding.  We know you will love this quilt as much as we do!  It's been years in the making, testing, and development.  Once you use one, you will wonder how you ever camped without it

The Best

I am in love with this quilt! I cannot sleep in a sleeping bag so I’ve been battling finding the right combo of blankets to use while camping. This is it. This is the best, warmest, lightest blanket/quilt I’ve found. It’s even small enough to leave inside my roof top tent all the time. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

The Perfect Quilt

I just spent the night with this thing in 15° weather and was super cozy and warm in my iKamper! It is the perfect size and packs small if needed. I can’t believe how warm I stayed on a cold night. My water bottle was frozen in the morning but I was warm and comfortable. I also appreciate Travis rushing it out in time for my trip. Vector is great to work with and super responsive. Thanks for everything!

This thing is amazeballs

This is the lightest, warmest, fluffiest quilt I’ve ever used. Absolutely amazing. I generally *hate* the mummy-style sleeping bags with an intense burning passion, and have been using an older square sleeping bag, unzipped, as a sort of duvet. But a recent excursion through Nevada’s high desert and other equally chilly-at-night places had me wanting something better able to cope with the cold. This quilt is snow my go-to night time covering for late fall, through mid spring. Truly worth every cent.
