The Element Plate allows for a simple option to remove your spare tire, and re-locate the license plate from the bumper to the Tailgate. It also serves as a place to mount rotopax containers. The Element Plate is ideal for weight/fuel savings over a spare tire. If you have a JL, you can re-use your factory camera to mount in the provided camera bracket. The Element Plate is not currently compatible if you have a tailgate reinforcement bracket.
Features:
- Main Plate laser cut and bent from 12ga high strength steel and powder coated black
- Simple install of your JL camera in the included laser cut aluminum powder coat backup camera mount.(not Teraflex)
- License Plate Re-Location Bracket included
- Re-use Factory Tailgate Bolts for Installation
- JK will re-use 4 of the factory bolts to install
- JL will re-use 8 of the factory bolts to install
- Allows the mounting of two, 2 gallon sized Rotopax Containers (Fuel/Water/Storage Pack)
- Easy installation time of approximately 30 minutes
- Quick release thumb screws to remove the license plate bracket as needed
- Rear Facing Antenna/Whip/Offroad light bracket with 3 mounting holes
- The optional UFO kits will plug 3 holes left open on the JK Tailgate, and 4 holes left open on the JL tailgate, to give you a nice clean and finished tailgate set up
- The optional ORO brake and license plate light mounts between the license plate, and our license plate bracket. Splicing of Wiring is necessary for this option
*actual product may vary slightly from images shown. Camera housing is no longer the gray Teraflex part shown in images. It is now made from laser cut and bent aluminum with black powder coating to match the main plate. The factory brake light is not re-used with this kit, but the optional ORO brake light provides a brake light, and license plate light option for both JK and JL models. This kit must be wired in by the customer

Excellent service and product！
The delete kit workout well for my install. Good quality components. The only issue is when you remove the rotopaks, you have to remove the license plate holders. Im glad they are wing nuts at least that hold the plate. The only other thing is there is no light for the license plate which is required in PA if you are moving the tag. I never did plan on moving my PA tag so it didn’t matter anyway
