Typical install time is approximately 20 minutes. the Vector E-Dock Dash mount provides a solid mounting point for your Cell Phones, Tablets, GPS, Spot Messenger, Flashlight, CB, Handheld Radio, etc...
Fits 2011-2018 JK/JKU with factory installed stereo. Fits right and left hand drive vehicles. Does not work with a JK that has an aftermarket stereo installed, if the screw in the cubby has been removed, or the new radio changes the shape of the dash. . However, it will work with the Stinger Heigh10 aftermarket unit. We have an Aftermarket E-dock that is required if you have an aftermarket stereo installed.
DO NOT BLOCK AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT WITH MOUNTS OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES.
***In extremely rare occasions, the factory threaded stud in the dash may shear after use of the edock. The way the JK's were assembled from the factory, created bent and fatigued factory studs. If the threaded stud from the factory does break, there is no way to replace it. That part is not a Vector Offroad Product, and we are not responsible for the breakage. Do not buy this product if you don't understand and accept the risk and small possibly of this happening. If it does break, you can cut the dock off 1" from the hoop, and use the dock as a 3/4 width dock***

The E-dock solved our problem of fumbling with electronic devices while driving. We utilize our 2016 Rubicon as a daily driver hauling 3 children to and from school and activities. Safety is important to our family. Vector E-dock performs flawlessly.

I wanted to be able to use my cup holders again, plus I had purchased a new radio for the 2017 Wrangler. Now I have the radio and cell phone mounted on the dash. No more cup holder for phone and one for hand held radio. I wish I had bought this sooner.
Installation was easy and the E-dock is very solid and holds accessories securely.
