The Vector Offroad JLU Highland Platform practically doubles the usable space in the rear cargo area. This high strength solution is a perfect to carry your gear for your next adventure.
The JLU Highland Platform provides the following benefits:
- Mounting hole patterns cut into the platform for RotoPax Water/Fuel/Storage mounts. The platform can hold up to two 4-gallon RotoPax containers on the underside of the deck
- High Strength Aluminum, weight tested to 230 lbs without failure
- Total weight of this shelf is 15 pounds
- Bolt-on installation, requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle.
- Standard finish - Black Powder Coat
- Multiple lashing points for straps and/or cargo nets.
- Included quick release wing nut set allows easy removal of the main platform deck without the use of tools. Wing nuts allow for quick removal if you need to transport large items in the back of your rig from time to time
- Approximately 24 1/2" clearance from the floor to the bottom of the platform, and 17.5" clearance form Platform deck to the JKU ceiling. 40” wide x 23” Deep inner dimensions.

Great shelf. Works with Yakima backbone on the JLUR. I replaced the wing nuts with stainless nylock nuts. I like freeing up the space between the roll cage and windows. That space is excellent for cramming sleeping pads, pillows, etc. I have not yet over landed with weight on the shelf so hopefully the 5 stars hold. Also, shelf shipped black. I think the photos are of the bare aluminum.
I bought this one because it was aluminum and not a 50 lbs steel like the Chinese ones, it’s kind of pricey, but that’s what you pay for a USA quality product , the only way I think you could make it better is to make the brackets longer so you can make it adjustable up and down
The shelf was very easy to install and is a great aid in keeping things a bit more organized. I know we will love having the ability to keep things from piling up so much.
I needed a shelf that was strong and that would give me maximum storage area that could also be removed easily and the Vector fit the bill to a T. I had it installed in minutes and retained the use of my XG cargo gamma bags. I plan on hauling my ECOFLOW power station,diesel heater,tent,camp chairs,rotopax and any combination of these things on camping trips but it will also be very handy in daily trips to the store as well.
This rack I’m telling you is one of the best add ons I have done it has performed great !! Nice job guys thanks !!
